Santa Is In L.A. And I Saw Him Eating Ice Cream With Fudge On His Beard

Hi Everyone!

How was your weekend? Did you participate in the
Black Friday extravaganza? Daisy and I stayed in on Friday when
that was going on, but I had the Holiday shopping fever, and went
to Los Angeles on Saturday with my mom to do a little gift
shopping. This was my first visit to L.A. in winter,
and I could not believe how festive it was!

We went over to The Grove, where they set up a huge
Ginger Bread house, and I posed with this giant
ice cream cone. Nothing says Merry Christmas
like fudge and ice cream. Mmm, ice cream.

After The Grove, we drove over to Melrose Avenue.
There are some pretty great little shops over there.
We found this store called Johnny Cupcakes, which sells
t-shirts, and accessories in a bakery style setting.
There was also a ton of vintage stores on Melrose.
It's hard not to shop for yourself around
the Holidays. Especially when the
stores put all of the best
items on sale!

I didn't bring Daisy with me this time around, because I
wasn't sure how dog friendly the area was. Now that I know the
Grove is dog friendly, I plan to bring her back with me
in a few weeks. I'm thinking about getting one
of those dog strollers, so I don't have
to carry her all day when she
becomes tired. Can any of
you recommend one?

Daisy kicked off the Holiday Season a few days ago by posing
for some photos. I think these could be possible
Holiday cards. What do you think?

"It the camera on? How about now? Tell me
before you take the photo."

"I wonder what area of the grass
I will take a poo on today."

"I hope my boyfriend doesn't come around the corner
again when I am in the middle of going number two.
That was embarrassing."

"I'm not trying to put pressure on you or anything,
but I want my stocking to be overflowing with the
bestess gifts. I put my Christmas list by the
toaster. I only had time to write down
136 items, so I will make another
list for you this week."

Daisy and I hope you have a great day!

Goodness, those photos of Daisy are just so precious!!

Mom went out on Black Friday, but only in the afternoon - she agrees that it is hard not to buy stuff for yourself when all the good things are on sale!!

Only 136 yes you need to add another list for Dana, yep. We think you should at least end up around 513 items just to cover the basic gifts.

We vote for pic #2!!! Your eye is doing some cool gecko thing. Daisy, I think we wish for an ice cream cone like the one your mom stood by. Yeah, sounds good.

Mom went out at midnight on Thanksgiving to the outlet mall and it was nuts! Good deals and great selection. Still not sure how mom got dad to do that.

We have a stroller by Outward Hound for Quincy. This one. http://www.ecrater.com/p/7466271/outward-hound-designer-pet-stroller

It's great because Quincy can be zipped inside if he tried to jump out, which he never does. And it's got screens so a dog could see out. There are some good pockets for storage, too. And the best part is that is folds so very easy to travel with.

Mom says that if you are getting a stroller for shopping, she'd go for one with more storage though. Or bigger so the stroller could carry the bags.
