Let's Talk Pug Addictions

Hi Everyone!

It's getting hot here in Vegas.
I have officially unfolded my Pugs Not Drugs shirt.

Do any of you have a pug shirt? I love these! I'm looking for
a more colorful pug shirt. People used to look at me strangely,
when they would see me run errands with my pug,
wearing a pug shirt.

I used to turn around and say, "Hey buddy,
are you looking at me, or my sexy pug? Have you
ever seen a pug this sexy before? She has a boyfriend,
so it looks like you are stuck with me. Is that a dog biscuit
in your pocket? Or, are you just happy to see me?"

I'm totally kidding, I would not have been able to keep
a straight face if I said that.

Everyone has their addictions. Mine has always been pugs.
I will stop traffic to say hello to a sexy pug.

I would have to say though, I have met others who
have more extreme pug addictions than I do. For instance,
a few years ago, I pulled into a Whole Foods parking lot,
and left Penny in the car with my brother. A woman
stopped me on my way into the store, after she
had seen Penny. She pulled out her wallet,
and proceeded to show me a wallet
slideshow of her pug.
It was very cute.

Another time, I met a crossing guard woman who told me,
she once abandoned her post in order to greet a pug
who had passed by moments ago.

I just want to write, that if you have a pug addiction like
so many do, you are not alone. Just make sure you don't
cause a car accident if you decide to slam your
brakes on, in an effort to greet a sexy pug.

I hope you have a great weekend!

Hi Dana! I just want to say I'm a total pug addict although, most of my addictions seem to be limited to books and movies. I have one shirt, and one plush pug, but I hope to add more to my collection...lol. I'm glad I'm not alone! Hope you're having a good week! Love, Penni. (Arlo's mom)

Hello Dana!

I am totally a Pug addict! Like you, I have a Pug T-Shirt! I also have a pug purse and pug socks. My husband calls me a nerd. I just think I'm totally representing to those who do not know how cool and sexy a Pug really is!!! I mean people must get on board and realize the Beefiness and sexiness of the Pug!
I also have tons of Pug stuffed animals. I cannot control myself. If I am out and see a pug stuffed animal or anything like a pug nick nack or salt and pepper shaker...I have to make the purchase!
Whenever I go to the Doctors office or the Dentists office...all the ladies are doomed to look at pictures of my babies! And I bring lots!!! (They must think I'm a nut ball)
Oh and me telling my friends (who don't have Pugs) that I started a bloggy) forget about it.
I love that there are people out there like me who love The Pug and The entire beefiness just as much as me : )
Have a great weekend!!
Love, Katy and Josie, Izzy & Anakin

Pugs have a way of doing that to humans. Once you love a pug, you are totally unable to resist their puggy sexiness. WhenI walk the boys, cars pull over, folks come out of houses. They even work their magic on non-pug parents. My boys have trained 3 of my neighbors to worship them. These folks now go out and buy doggie treats so when we go walking they can stop and feed the pugs. It should be noted that NONE of these neighbors have dogs. Yep, puggy magic -- it is impossible to resist.

It is so good to have you back blogging. The boyz all send you lots and lots of puggy snuffles, snorts and kisses.

Hi Dana! Since I'm a pug, my only addiction is food. I could eat 24/7 and it's my secret wish to do so some day.

Mom loves pugs and has some pug purses. People always look at her strange when she carries them. She has a pug wallet and coin purse, pug statues, books - sheesh!
I guess she's just as addicted as you are.

Pugs and kisses!

Oh we definitely have a pug addiction. One day we were leaving the dog park and this car drove down the street. All of a sudden the car came to a screeching halt in the middle of the road. The window rolled down and my friend, (well at that time I only knew her from the dog park but we are now good friends), yelled out her car from the drivers side, while her pug Babette bounced around at the window. "Hey, look what I got!!!" she leans over and thrust up this 3 month old pug pup so it can see out the window. Naturally I went nuts and ran into the road up to her car. There was lots of licks and ooh and ahhhing. During all this excitement we failed to notice the cars behind honking!

Oh the things we do for pugs!

Her puppy is named Hamlet and he and his sister Babette are good pug pals of Winston's. They are now 3 & 4 years old.

Hi Dana
my moms are totally addicted all right.
if they see a pug in a car going down the road- they wave at it.
If they see one down town- they go over to see it- they act like they never have seen a pug before.
And we collect everything pug- everything
