Let's Talk Pug Addictions

Hi Everyone!

It's getting hot here in Vegas.
I have officially unfolded my Pugs Not Drugs shirt.

Do any of you have a pug shirt? I love these! I'm looking for
a more colorful pug shirt. People used to look at me strangely,
when they would see me run errands with my pug,
wearing a pug shirt.

I used to turn around and say, "Hey buddy,
are you looking at me, or my sexy pug? Have you
ever seen a pug this sexy before? She has a boyfriend,
so it looks like you are stuck with me. Is that a dog biscuit
in your pocket? Or, are you just happy to see me?"

I'm totally kidding, I would not have been able to keep
a straight face if I said that.

Everyone has their addictions. Mine has always been pugs.
I will stop traffic to say hello to a sexy pug.

I would have to say though, I have met others who
have more extreme pug addictions than I do. For instance,
a few years ago, I pulled into a Whole Foods parking lot,
and left Penny in the car with my brother. A woman
stopped me on my way into the store, after she
had seen Penny. She pulled out her wallet,
and proceeded to show me a wallet
slideshow of her pug.
It was very cute.

Another time, I met a crossing guard woman who told me,
she once abandoned her post in order to greet a pug
who had passed by moments ago.

I just want to write, that if you have a pug addiction like
so many do, you are not alone. Just make sure you don't
cause a car accident if you decide to slam your
brakes on, in an effort to greet a sexy pug.

I hope you have a great weekend!

Sexy Pug Face Stickers

Happy Tuesday!

A while back I ordered a sheet of small round stickers with
Penny's sexy face on them. Here is what they look like:

I wanted to send a few samples out to you. I have about
19 extra. If you would like one, send me your address
and I will send one to you. You can e-mail me at:
Orsbornd@gmail.com

If I run out, and can't get one to you at the moment,
I will let you know. I'll be ordering another
sheet in a couple of weeks.

I am still way behind on my blog commenting, but I
will get on that soon. Bear with me. I hope you are having
a great week!

You Can't Take The Sexy Out Of A Pug

Hi Everyone.

I have spent these past few days trying to keep busy.
I have been attempting to get a hold of a few of the Las Vegas
Pug Rescue Organizations to see if they need a volunteer,
but I have had no luck with anyone returning my calls
or e-mails. I tried to get involved with a few of
the same rescues when I moved here almost two
years ago, and the same thing happened.

I'm going to keep trying. I really want to help out
in any way I can. I'm not used to not being around animals.
I feel like I'm walking around with no pants on all day.
Very strange. In the meantime, I stumbled across quite
a few photos of Penny I misplaced over the years.
Her beefy sexiness shined bright from the start.
I found a few photos of my cats as well.

I have been trying to scrapbook Penny's photos. I can tell you
that I have hundreds, probably close to a thousand pictures
of her. I have more photos of Penny, than I have of my human
family members. They don't seem to mind. They understand
she was just sexier.

Here are a few of the photos I came across:

Penny and Tabitha.

Tabitha was a little sexy hoochie cat. She would lie on her back,
in front of all the neighbors with her legs spread. It brought us
a lot of attention. Tabitha also liked to gently swat Penny's
pug butt. It was strange, but very sweet. Tabitha passed
away a few years ago at the age of nine.

This was my cat Darlene.

I adopted her as a kitten when I was five. She passed away at
the age of 19. I'm not sure how old that would be in human
years, but she had a nice long life. She never liked
Tabitha, Penny or any human very much. She was
kind of mean, but we loved her.

Tiny Beefy Sexy Penny!

This wasn't my party, it was Penny's. You can tell
it was Penny's birthday, because she had more extravagant
parties.

I'm sure everyone has been keeping up on their blog reading,
but I wanted to say again, how much I loved your whipped cream
photo tributes to Penny. It looked like your pugs had a day
of deliciousness. I never thought that when I brought
Penny into my life, her passing would spark a sexy
whipped cream movement. I'm sure some of your
pugs will now be addicted, just as Penny
was. That stuff is good. Penny knew
how to live life to the
sexy fullest!

I hope you had a great weekend, and did something
fun with your pugs!

Whipped Cream Sexy Tributes And Smiles

Dear friends,

Over the last few days, your tributes to Penny, and your
sweet words to me, have made me smile. Your overwhelming
support has meant so much to me. It is so good to know we can
lean on one another through the good, but also the bad.
These past few days have been very hard, yet my pain
eases each day, little by little.

I feel Penny is with me, and will continue to help me along
this process of grief. There is no explanation as to why are best
friends are taken from us. Whether they are old or young, it is
hard to understand. What we must remember, is that they were,
and are a gift, and we should be thankful for everyday
we had with them.

Penny went too soon, but she brought so much joy to all of us.
I would never have been the same without her, and I will not
be the same now that she is gone. But, I will carry on her
spirit, and her beefy sexiness for
as long as I live.

Penny was with me these past five years through so much,
and she brought me so much joy, even when I was feeling down.
Seeing your pugs pay tribute to Penny, especially
with the whipped cream, is helping me remember
the joy I felt when she was here. It lets me
know it is okay to smile, although my
sadness is great.

I was outside tonight, and saw a handful of shooting stars.
I think it was Penny and some of her new friends.

I know you will stick by me, even though Penny is no longer here.
I will continue to blog, although my writing will turn in
a new direction, as it is just me right now.

I know I will honor Penny by continuing to blog, and eventually
adopt a rescue dog. She would want me to give a wonderful
home to another fur child, just as I did for her.
When the time is right, I will know. And we will
embark on a whole new chapter together.
Until that time comes, I will continue
to read your words, and see what
you are up to.

Goodbye My Beefy Sexy Poopie

Hi everyone.

It is with great sadness that I tell you Penny went to the
Rainbow Bridge today. I had to make the heartbreaking decision,
after her rapid decline. One week after her seizure, Penny lost
her hearing, her mobility, and her organs began to fail.
Towards the end, she did not recognize much.
It was no way to live. She was gone.

The neurologist, and her regular doctor suspect she had a
brain tumor. We tried everything we possibly could
to save her. It was her time to go.

It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make,
but I know it was the right one. I asked her if she was
ready to go, and with her eyes, she told me yes.

As you can imagine, I am heartbroken. She was my sexy furry
child. Please understand my blogging absence, as it may be
a while. I need time to begin to grieve the loss of my baby.

She was only five and a half, but she gave me more love
and happiness than I could have ever imagined.

Please hold your pugs close today as you think of Penny,
and know that she is no longer in pain. Also take this time
to think of Elvis, Mindy Ruzumna's sexy man pug who crossed the
Rainbow Bridge today too. I'm sure Penny is with Elvis,
and all the other pets who have crossed,
and is converting them into whipped
cream addicts.

Penny never met any of you pug nose to face, but she
loved you all, and appreciated your friendship.

Penny is probably with my grandma, sitting on her lap,
binge eating on whipped cream. I will miss her
dearly, and always remember the sexy
times we shared.

Sexy Birthday Bash

Happy Wednesday!

It's finally starting to get nice outside again.
I can't wait until the snow melts on the mountains here.
I can finally start hiking! I tried to hike in the snow last year,
and I ended up falling into a magical snow hole.
Those are real. You can be trapped in one of
those for days, depending on how
deep it is.

Here are some photos I took last Spring at Mount Charleston
in Las Vegas. No slot machines in sight, hooraay!

Penny also helped me celebrate my birthday yesterday.
I can't believe 25 years ago, my mom vajayjayed me.

Penny had fun at the birthday party. She is doing better to
some degree, but mentally she seems to be declining. This could
be due to the anti-seizure medication. We are lowering the
dosage later this week to see if this might be the case.
The neurologist does not seem to think her
triglycerides caused the seizures, so we
still have no leads on this.
Her seizures have stopped, but the fact that she
is having so many other issues right now is
worrisome.

She seems to have lost some of her hearing, and she is
disoriented. She doesn't seem to recognize where some things
are, and is very confused with the layout of the rooms in
our condo. I keep finding her trapped in back of
doors, and in the corners of the rooms.
She also seems to be having some
discomfort trying to lie
down.

We're working with our vet, and are hoping she will ease out
of these issues in time. We'll probably know if this is going to
be a steady decline over the next few weeks, or if she will
pull out of it, and return back to her sexy self.
It's hard to know with these things, and you
just have to give it time.

Penny told me to tell everyone not to worry, and have some
whipped cream for her. We will let you know how she is doing.
Thank you for all of the nice birthday wishes!
We hope everyone is having a great week!

Showgirls In April

Give a girl a camera and she'll take a photo of...
herself in a Caesars Palace bathroom.

Over the weekend I went downtown to celebrate my birthday.
For some reason, the only photo I ended up taking was in
a bathroom, next to a Grecian statue door mural.
Star tassels not included.

Unfortunately, I didn't win any money when I was there.
But, I did see a few showgirls standing in line for Cher's show.
They were wearing a lot of feathers. Where do I sign up for
that job? I wonder what kind of interview questions are
asked when applying for a position like that.

Perhaps, "How much feather weight can you hold on your back?"
And, "Do you have any skin allergies to glitter, sequins
or nylon? Are you willing to wear a nylon thong made
of the above craft materials?"

Penny could be a Vegas Showgirl.
Who could deny this kind of sexiness?

Penny pretty much slept the entire weekend. These seizure pills
are making her extremely tired and dizzy. She barely has time
to lie down before her face hits the floor and I start
to hear loud snoring. Hopefully she will be back
to normal once we get the dosage figured out,
and her triglycerides under control.

You've all had some great suggestions for what I can give her
for healthy snacks. I'm going to try steamed carrots,
and see how she does with those. No more whipped
cream for her. I'll switch her to low fat,
sugar free Cool Whip instead.
Just don't tell Penny.

What did you do this weekend?

Weekend Grass With Whipped Cream On The Side

Happy Friday!

Penny is doing much better today. She is still a bit wobbly.
This is most likely due to the medication she is on.
Her doctor called back with the results of her
blood tests, and there was something that
raised a big red flag.

Penny's triglycerides are over 2,000! Holy soy balls!
200 is considered high. The doctor will be speaking with
a neurologist to see if there could be a connection between
the seizures and triglycerides. One thing is certain,
her diet and exercise is going to have to change
dramatically. We're going to have another
appointment soon to speak about what to
do next, so stay tuned.

On another note, something happened this morning to brighten
Penny's day. We got grass! Finally!! Penny wasn't
happy having to do her business on the
classified ads. It's not natural.

Penny is going to be very busy this weekend. She has a full
schedule of hanging out on her grass, resting,
listening to cartoons and eating
whipped cream.

"I am so excited to have grass! Let's light our
newspaper classified ads on fire, and BBQ some soy Kabobs!
Bring me a really delicious non-alcoholic margarita
while you are at it too. No salt!"

I might do something a little different from what Penny
plans to do this weekend. If my neighbors saw me imitating my
pugs actions, they would probably call the cops. No one likes to
have any real fun in this town! I would be pretty entertained
if I went out on my balcony to see someone nude,
on the grass, just trying to get their tan on.
It's only disturbing when that person is
chalk white nude, with a bowl of cool
whip between their legs.

We hope you have a great weekend!

This Sexy Pug Feels Like Poop

Hey Everyone.

First off, thank you to everyone sending well wishes to Penny.
Penny became really sick this morning. She was very disoriented,
throwing up, urinating on herself, and she could not walk.
I rushed her to her doctor, where they ran blood tests,
and took X-rays.

While she was under observation, she had a seizure.
They put her on anti-seizure medicine, and made
her very comfortable. So comfortable in fact,
she still has not fully woken up. She's
propped up on a pillow, under the
covers, in my bed.

The doctor thinks she had at least one seizure early
this morning. Triggering the sickness and
disorientation.

She is really out of it right now. I am babying her.
Her X-rays came back normal, as did her basic blood
tests. We will have to wait until tomorrow for the
results of the more extensive blood tests.

I'm going to watch her carefully. She's probably going to
have a rough night. As if she hasn't had it rough already.
For now, we'll monitor her on the seizure medicine and
go from there.

Penny won't allow me to post photos of her while she's not
feeling 100% sexy. I can't blame her. So, here are some
older super sexy photos of Penny until she's feeling
better.

I'll post any updates, and let you know how she is doing.
Until then, we're going to get some rest. To say the
least, it has been a long day.
Blog with you later!

We hope you have a great weekend!

My Photo Is In Black And White, But My Sexiness Is In Color

Hi Everyone!

Penny and I hope you are having a great week!

Penny hasn't been up to much these past few
days. She has firmly planted herself in the kitchen,
waiting for her next meal. I need to start getting her out
more to take her mind off the food. Anyway, here are
some black and white photo snapshots of how Penny
spent her Wednesday night, and Thursday morning.

"Do you see how serious my blind right eye looks right now?
I guess my right eye would be to your left, but do you
see how it looks? It's Hungry! My right eye, to your
left is hungry! Feed my hungry eye some kibble.
And then some whipped cream for a little snack."

"I think I see my reflection in your camera lens. Hello Sexy."

"Keep the fridge closed! If you let the cold air out,
my whipped cream won't be properly chilled."

"Make sure you get a photo of my good side. I feel the
sexiest from the left side of my pug face. Will this be posted
on my blog? Tell them I said, Hello sexy bloggers."

Have a great Thursday!

Classifieds On A Windy Monday

Happy Monday!

Penny and I hope everyone had a great Easter!
Penny and I were trapped indoors yesterday,
as well as today. We are having a severe
wind storm, and we almost flew
down the stairs going outside
for a minute.

Penny and I are not fans of the wind.
It messes up our hair poof.

We still don't have any grass.
Can you believe they took out Penny's grass
a month ago! We never realized how nice it
was to have grass, until it was gone.

The people of Las Vegas don't realize, not having
grass for our sexy animals, is like not having any toilet
paper for humans. Maybe people here wouldn't mind using
a bathroom mat. From what I have seen so far, that
wouldn't surprise me.

Penny decided to make a
song about this mess. Here it is:

"Trapped insiiiide, forced to take a poop on some classified ads.
The ads were crunchy, and they flipped up with the gusty wind.
Touching my pug butt-hole. Yes they did. I don't want a used
84' Toyota held together by tape, or a tiny stripper
wearing candy canes. I don't need a cable guy
that will steal my whipped cream, or a
dry cleaners that will burn a hole
in my sexy sweater.
I just want my grass. I just want my grass"
